Mechanical Projects

Engineering has been an important part of my life. I find happiness in building contraptions that improves the lives of people. While I code professionally, I usually spend my weekends building my next wacky device. Examples shown reflect my work up to 2020 and are NOT robotics related. CAD drawing of an Internet of Things button using a piece of Iridium Tin Oxide glass

ITO glass button

I had a piece of Iridium Tin Oxide glass that I wanted to use as part of an IoT button. An ESP8266 fits inside this case and sends a signal everytime the glass contacts the wires.

Laser Cut Designs

A collage of laser cut awards I made for Pioneers in Engineering, a student club at UC Berkeley, between 2018-2020. Some of these designs involving staining the laser engraved wood and/or bending wood.
